🌍 Green Youth Worker 4.0 Training in Berlin: Empowering Youth Workers for a Sustainable Future 🌱
From October 20-25, 2024, a diverse group of youth workers from across Europe gathered in Grünheide, Germany for the Green Youth Worker 4.0 training. This unique event aimed to equip participants with essential digital skills to drive green practices in youth work, ensuring that environmental sustainability becomes a core aspect of their projects.
💻 Throughout the training, participants:
Gained hands-on experience with digital tools to enhance their environmental initiatives.
Exchanged successful strategies and innovative practices used across the EU.
Developed 16 online non-formal education workshops, which will be available to youth workers globally.
Contributed to creating the Green Youth Worker 4.0 Guide, a valuable resource for integrating green skills into youth work.
By the end of the course, youth workers were ready to use digital solutions to advocate for environmental causes and inspire the younger generation to take action towards a sustainable future.
This project was an amazing opportunity to foster collaboration, cultural exchange, and sustainable youth work practices across Europe.
