How can we use digital tools in youth work meaningfully, critically and responsibly, rather than simply because they are available?
EN.O Greece is inviting three participants from Greece to take part in Digital Shift, an international Erasmus+ Training Course taking place in Agrigento, Sicily, Italy, from 26 October to 4 November 2026.
The Training Course will bring together youth workers and other professionals active in the youth field to explore the opportunities and challenges of digitalisation in youth work, exchange practices and develop approaches that respond to the evolving needs of young people.
About Digital Shift:
Digitalisation is transforming the ways young people communicate, learn, participate and engage with their communities. As digital technologies become increasingly integrated into everyday life, youth workers are called upon not only to use these tools effectively but also to critically assess their impact on young people and educational processes.
Digital Shift aims to strengthen participants’ competences in integrating digital approaches into youth work in ways that are meaningful, inclusive, responsible and responsive to young people’s needs.
Through non-formal and experiential learning, participants will explore how digital tools and methods can support learning, participation, inclusion, communication and engagement. Particular attention will be given to critical issues such as digital wellbeing, accessibility, ethics, privacy and online safety.
The programme will encourage active participation, practical experimentation, peer learning and the exchange of experiences among youth workers from different countries.
Who Can Apply?
EN.O Greece is looking for motivated individuals aged 18 or above who are actively involved in the youth field, including youth workers, trainers, facilitators, educators, project coordinators and volunteers.
The relevance of applicants’ profiles to the objectives of the Training Course will be a key selection criterion.
Applicants should:
-Be actively involved in working with and for young people.
-Have a genuine interest in digital youth work and non-formal education.
-Be able to communicate and participate actively in English.
-Be willing to share their experiences, knowledge and practices with other participants.
-Demonstrate motivation to apply the acquired knowledge and competences in their ongoing work with young people.
Learning Beyond the Training Course:
At EN.O Greece, we believe that the value of international learning experiences extends beyond the mobility itself.
Selected participants will therefore be expected to organise a concrete follow-up or dissemination activity after the Training Course, transferring the knowledge, methods and experiences gained to EN.O Greece and their local communities.
Applicants are encouraged to consider how the Training Course connects to their current involvement in youth work and how they intend to put their learning into practice afterwards.
Applications and Selection:
-Application deadline: 10 October 2026
-Number of available places: 3 participants from Greece
-Application Form and info-pack: https://forms.gle/UdMJBAQ2dXQGxGpb6
Selection will be based primarily on the relevance of applicants’ profiles, their motivation and their potential to contribute to meaningful follow-up activities.
Digital Shift is implemented within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme and co-funded by the European Union.
