From 31 May to 11 June 2026, EN.O Greece participated in the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange “EcoMove”, implemented in Mogoșești-Siret, Romania, at Tabăra Muncel.
The Youth Exchange brought together young people from Romania, Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Türkiye and North Macedonia for an international learning experience centred on sport, inclusion, active participation and environmentally friendly mobility.
Throughout the programme, participants engaged in a variety of non-formal education activities, sports, outdoor experiences, teamwork challenges and group reflection. Through learning by doing, they had the opportunity to strengthen competences such as communication, cooperation, teamwork and intercultural understanding, while exploring the importance of an active and healthy lifestyle.
Living and learning together in an international environment was also an important part of the experience. Participants exchanged perspectives and experiences, discovered different cultures, built new connections and were encouraged to step outside their comfort zones and actively engage with people from different backgrounds.
For EN.O Greece, participation in Erasmus+ Youth Exchanges represents an important opportunity to provide young people with learning experiences that extend beyond formal education. International mobility creates a space where young people can develop their competences, broaden their perspectives and experience first-hand the value of intercultural dialogue, inclusion, active participation and European cooperation.
The impact of a Youth Exchange, however, does not end with the mobility itself. Following their return, participants have the opportunity to share their experiences and learning with their peers and wider communities, contributing to the dissemination of project results and encouraging other young people to discover the opportunities offered by Erasmus+.
Through its participation in “EcoMove”, EN.O Greece continues to support opportunities that enable young people to learn, connect, participate and grow through international and intercultural experiences.
