EN.O Greece Participates in the European Youth Event 2025 in Strasbourg

On 13–14 June 2025, EN.O Greece participated in the European Youth Event (EYE2025), hosted by the European Parliament in Strasbourg, France. EYE2025 brought together thousands of young people from across Europe and beyond, creating a unique platform for dialogue, participation, and engagement with European democracy.

Representing EN.O Greece, a delegation of eight young participants and one group leader travelled to Strasbourg to take part in a wide range of activities, including workshops, debates, panel discussions, and interactive sessions focusing on some of the most important issues facing Europe today. The event offered participants the opportunity to exchange ideas with young people from different countries, engage with policymakers and experts, and contribute their perspectives on the future of Europe.

The participation of our delegation was supported through the EYE2025 programme, enabling young people facing geographical obstacles to access this valuable European experience and actively participate in discussions taking place at the heart of European democracy. This support contributed to ensuring that young voices from diverse backgrounds were represented and heard.

A particularly valuable aspect of this experience was the collaboration with our Italian partner organisation, Euromed EVE Italia. Together, our delegations brought young people from Greece and Italy to Strasbourg, fostering intercultural dialogue, cooperation, and mutual learning. Throughout the event, participants had the opportunity to build new friendships, exchange experiences, and strengthen their understanding of European citizenship through direct interaction with peers from across the continent.

For the members of our delegation, EYE2025 represented much more than participation in an international event. It provided an opportunity for personal growth, civic engagement, and the development of skills related to communication, critical thinking, and intercultural understanding. By engaging in discussions on European and global challenges, participants gained valuable insights into the role that young people can play in shaping more inclusive, democratic, and sustainable societies.

EN.O Greece is proud to have been part of this important European initiative and remains committed to creating opportunities that empower young people to participate actively in their communities and in European civic life.

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to the European Parliament and the organisers of EYE2025 for making this experience possible, as well as to our partner organisation, Euromed Italia, for the excellent cooperation and shared commitment to youth participation and European values.
