Kick-off Alert!

From January 29-30, 2025, the AGE-TECH project took off in Thessaloniki! 🇬🇷 This initiative is all about empowering elderly people with digital skills, ensuring they stay connected, informed, and socially active in the digital age.

Many elderly individuals, especially in rural areas, struggle with technology—some barely manage their phones. AGE-TECH aims to train educators, mentors, and trainers to support them in embracing new technologies and even AI, fostering inclusion, independence, and intergenerational connections.

At the Kick-off Meeting, partners from Greece (EN.O Greece, leading Organization), Spain (ABARKA, partner), and Türkiye (IYACA, partner) came together to set the foundation for this transformative project. Discussions focused on the DIGITAL Manual, training strategies, and ways to build local learning centers to bring seniors into the digital community.

Because digital literacy isn’t a privilege—it’s a right! Let’s bridge the digital gap and make the future accessible for all generations.
